The Music of America … rich diversity in our cultural heritage. The GCO is celebrating Black History Month by bringing the music of Black American Composer William Grant Still and the inspirational music that Dvorak created while visiting in the “New World”.
Painting her beautiful vision of the music will be Gainesville’s own beloved artist, Eleanor Blair. You are invited to watch her painting onstage as you listen to the Gainesville Chamber Orchestra take you on a tour “From the New World”….
